Wellness, Mindfulness and Art Therapy

Have you ever done something on automatic pilot, have you got some where and not seen anything on the way. Has the day gone and you haven't felt the temperature, smelt the air or seen what is around you? I suspect most people have had one of these days. It is a sign to stop "doing" and spend some time "in the present moment" (mindfulness) and people do this by using various methods such as meditation, bird watching in nature, a walk and Art therapy, that is the process of doing the art is healing in itself and everyone can give it a go. Art includes music, dance, poetry and visual arts, they all help keep people well. Coursera offers free courses on de-mystifying mindfulness, art therapy and many more for those that want to learn more.
